Our Process
Step 1: Designing Process
Creating an appointment is extremely important when designing a piece of jewellery. It allows our designers to always give you our full attention. You’ll be collaborating with them to create your dream piece. The more information you provide us the better!
This initial consultation allows us to get a better understanding of what design you’re looking for, your budget, and your preferences. If you have any pictures, sketches, or any ideas this would be the time to share them!
Once you have made your choice of design and chosen your diamonds and metal type we will provide you with an on-spot quote that is free of charge. If you decide to go ahead, we then move on to the next step of the process.
If you do not have the time to come in but would still like a quote for a custom design, feel free to use our Custom Jewellery form located at the bottom of the page and our designers will get back to you with a quote in 24 hours. Please note that these quotes specifically will be estimates and could be subject to a higher charge.
Step 2: 3D CAD Model
After your initial consultation, a 3D CAD will be created of your design, at which point, any modifications can be made according to your preferences. Feel free to call us or text us to make changes to your design.
As soon as it has been completed, a rendered image of your 3D CAD will be sent to you via your preferred method of contact for your approval. We do not start any other step of the process without your approval. Therefore, if you’re on a tight timeline, we recommend you approve it as soon as you can.
If you’re happy with your piece, we require a deposit to begin the process which will be discussed with your designer at the initial stage.
Step 3: Creation
This is the final step of the process, where your piece lies solely in the hands of our in-house jeweller who has 40 years of experience. The 3D CAD gets printed out in wax form and gets cast.
After the casting, our jeweller sets the diamonds that will be chosen by you and finishes them off with a high-polish finish.
Finally, your piece gets appraised by our certified in-house appraiser, and you will be provided with it as well as the third-party certificates for your diamonds. We offer shipping at request, or you can come and pick up your piece at our showroom located conveniently in Downtown Toronto!
