It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Taylor of Lethbridge, beloved mother of Jordan Maljaars and Lucas Taylor. Nicole fought a valiant battle with drugs but tragically lost that battle on July 16th, 2023 at the age of 36. She leaves behind a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Though her journey was fraught with hardships, she cherished the visits from her daughter, Jordan, and the companionship of her loyal dog, Maple. Despite the challenges she faced, Nicole had a vibrant spirit, her infectious smile and big, beautiful brown eyes had the power to brighten even the darkest days. Nicole had a unique sense of humor and often found joy in laughing at her own jokes, bringing laughter and warmth to those in her presence. Nicole found solace in simple pleasures and had a passion for coloring and music. Whether she was immersed in a coloring book, choosing colors with care and creativity, or listening to her favorite tunes, these activities brought her moments of respite and joy. Through her interests, Nicole demonstrated a deep appreciation for the beauty and creativity that exists in the world.

Although her life was marked by hardship, it is important to remember the person Nicole was beyond her struggles. She was a loving mother, a woman with a vibrant spirit, and someone who brought laughter and light to those who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. As we gather to celebrate Nicole's life and mourn her untimely passing, let us remember the importance of compassion and understanding towards those facing similar struggles. May her journey serve as a reminder to extend a helping hand to those in need and to support initiatives that address the challenges of homelessness and addiction.

Nicole is survived by her children, Jordan Maljaars and Lucas Taylor; father, Dale Taylor; brothers, Cori Klovansky and Josh Bell; nieces, Shayla Thurlow, Madyson Thurlow and Kenzley Thurlow; also left to mourn is Jordan’s father, Larry (Barb) Maljaars. Nicole was predeceased by her mother, Shelley Klovansky; sister, Ashley Bell-Thurlow; and brother, Dylan Taylor.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, July 21, 2023 at HUNTSVILLE CEMETERY, TOWNSHIP RD 112, Iron Springs, Alberta with Rev. E.C. Adams officiating
