Mr. William Pozdnekoff of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Betty Pozdnekoff, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 91 years.

William was born June 14, 1932, in Foremost, Alberta and went on to attend School in Skiff, Alberta. Aside from farming, he also enjoyed a career in mechanics, oilfield work and welding. He was a Life Member of Norbridge and belonged to the Sons of Norway and a motorcycle club. He rode his motorcycle up until his 91st birthday! He always enjoyed a new pick-up truck but absolutely loved his 1959 Studebaker. William had a great sense of humour, and you could often find him making jokes. Dancing and listening to music were two things William truly loved, but he also really enjoyed collecting and trading belt buckles and travelling to places such as Hawaii, Alaska and Las Vegas.

William is survived by his loving companion, Joyce Odland and extended family. Together, William and Joyce enjoyed attending dinners and movies, dancing and listening to music. He is also survived by his daughter, Janice (Kim); 3 sons, James (Stacey), Terry and Tim (Jennifer); 7 grandchildren, Raisa (Chad), Karly (Brad), Rylan, Bailee (Keith), Shannon, Cole and Kourtney; Greatgrandchildren Zaiden and Maxen.
Besides his loving wife Betty, William was predeceased by his parents Conrad and Polly; brothers Pete (Brenda), infant Philip, and sister Nadie (Bernie).

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 18,  2023 at MARTIN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS 610 – 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.
A private family Interment will follow.
