Mr. Owen McLeod of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Michelle McLeod, passed away suddenly in Lethbridge on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the age of 49 years.

Owen was born January 20, 1975, in Emo, Ontario. He moved to Regina, Saskatchewan with his parents Ronald (deceased in 2014) and Bonnie Tracey nee Lind and his brother Ross. Later on came his younger brother Seth. Owen grew up in Regina, he played hockey and was on a wrestling team. He met his wife Michelle in high school, and they went their separate ways for 20 years. They met up again in 2010. He left Regina in 1999 to help train and raced standard breed horses with his dad.  Michelle and Owen lived in Lethbridge from 2010 to 2013 and moved back to Regina in 2013 where they stayed until 2017. Then, back to Lethbridge again, where they resided until his passing.

Besides his loving wife Michelle, Owen is survived by his daughters Emily, Dakota (Dustin), Kourtney (Lucas); sons Alex, Tracy, Landyn, Keegan, Riley, Jonathan, Chad, Chance; grandchildren Addison, Kourtney, Auna, Aydyn, Daymon, Willow, Violette, Hayley; brothers Ross (Shauna), Seth (Chantel) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Besides his father Ronald, Owen was predeceased by his grandparents Margaret and William McLeod, Veron and Shirley Lind.

A Viewing will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.

            A Celebration of Owen’s Life will be held at a later date.
