Mr. Glen Dickson of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Tracy Lynn Dickson, passed away peacefully in his home after a lengthy illness on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the age of 50 years.

Glen Was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on May 11, 1973. He was the second child of three children born to Douglas Elden Dickson (deceased 2014) and Louise Dickson.

At the young age of 3 years, Glen was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. He enjoyed motorcycles, superhero comics, and was very artistic. He also enjoyed reading all kinds of different books. He was employed at many different companies, but his favorite position was as a long-haul semi-truck driver.

He met his wife Tracy at the age of 18 and they dated briefly, but long distance got in the way. Years later, they connected and were married in 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Glen struggled with health problems throughout his life.  In 2012, his kidneys failed, and he was unable to work anymore. Between 2012 and 2023, his health continued to decline. In the last month of his life, he underwent a pacemaker implantation, but continued to have heart complications.

Besides his loving wife Tracy, Glen is survived by his mother Louise Dickson; grandmother Pat Goddu; daughters Alyssa (Edward) Norman-La Chance, Desiree (Larry) Bronconnier; son Bo-James Dickson; sisters Kathy (Chris) Dickson; 2 sisters in law Lillian (Rob) Paradis, LaVerna Elliott; brother Wade (Sheri) Dickson; 3 brothers in law Larry Schultz, Robert (Glen) Wiebe and Ken (Kim) Wiebe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins,  and their families.

Glen was predeceased by his father Douglas Eldon Dickson and in laws Isaac Wiebe, Raymond Chapman and Kathy Chapman.

 A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at SHERAN PARK WARD CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATER DAY SAINTS, 175 ROCKY MOUNTAIN BLVD. W, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Bishop Daniel Wilde, officiating.

A private family Interment will be held at St. Walberg Cemetery, in Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Flowers are greatly appreciated. For those who wish, donations may be made to the spouse of Glen Dickson (Tracy), or to the Kidney Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Glen’s wife Tracy will be moving, so any assistance that could be offered, whether it be physical assistance or financial assistance, is greatly appreciated.
