Marilyn Elsie Anne Clarke passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 20th, 2024, at the age of 86. Marilyn was born in Edmonton, AB to Albert and Marguerite Pfaff on August 7th, 1937.

On April 17th, 1962, she married Reginald Clarke and they later had two children, Corey, and Kelly. Marilyn and Redge spent many years building together, working on the farm and opening a motel in Vermillion, AB.

Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband Reginald, both parents, her son Corey, sister Audrey, brother-in-law Grant and nephew Terry.

Her memory is cherished by her sister Edna, her son, Kelly, four grandchildren, Natasha (Grant), Melissa (Douglas), Kendall (Dominic) and Renee (Taylor), two great grandchildren, Kazden and Benjamin, as well as numerous treasured nieces, nephews and their families. She loved her family and friends dearly- near and far.

She faced life’s challenges with grace and optimism, always finding a way to see the silver lining. Marilyn loved to garden and spent many hours planting flowers for her neighbors to enjoy in Country Lane. She was also a talented painter and expressed herself through the art of watercolor. Marilyn loved to travel and explored the world, meeting special friends along the way.

Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. At Marilyn’s request there will be no funeral service. She will be laid to rest with her husband and son in Vermillion, Alberta.
