Irene Helen Clark of Lethbridge AB, Beloved wife of the late Peter Clark, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritans West Highlands Centre on 24 April 2023 at the age of 91 years. 

Irene grew up in the Picture Butte area and lived most of her adult life in Lethbridge.

Irene was a very determined, hardworking, gifted lady who could do anything she set her mind to including sewing, ceramics, woodworking, crafts & painting. She was very devoted to caring for her family. She also worked for many years cooking & baking at the Hospital, Sifton House & Woodwards bakery. Irene was very community minded and volunteered in many organizations. She loved to dance and entertain.

Irene is survived by her sons, Walter (Melissa) Clark, Ronald (Betty Lou) Clark, Grandchildren John (Krista) Clark, Charles (Stacey) Clark, Peter (Madelaine) Clark and 8 Great Grandchildren, her siblings Victoria (George*) Sander, Julius (Lorna) Urban & Anne Hadford as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Besides her loving husband Peter Clark, Irene was predeceased by her parents Elek & Amerencia (Emma) Urban and her oldest brother Alec Urban.

Family and Friends are invited to join us for a Graveside at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Mountain View Cemetery (meet at the front gate). A reception will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 4105 Forestry Ave S Lethbridge, AB (NE entrance) following the interment.
