             Mrs. Georgia Eleanor Brownell of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jervis Brownell, passed away at Good Samaritans Park Meadows, on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the age of 100 years.

            Georgia was born in Newington, Ontario on January 8, 1923, the late Georgia Brownell trained to be an R.N. in Cornwall before moving to Carmangay, Alberta in 1947. There she fell in love with Jervis as well as the prairie way of life and never looked back. Georgia and Jervis Marries on February 10, 1947, they raised 3 children on the family farm. She was a long-time member of the Priscilla Club in Carmangay and the Carmangay Lionettes and enjoyed Participating in various community events.

            After Jervis passed in 1996, Georgia moved into Rio Vista condos in Lethbridge the following year. There she enjoyed a very busy social life playing cards, visiting, going on bus tours and baking her buns for many friends.

            She was a loving wife mother and grandmother; family was very important to her and she loved to visit with friends. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

            She is survived by her son Terry in Australia; daughter Linda in Lethbridge; grandchildren Michele, Chris, Chelsea, Caitlin and great grandchildren Flynn and Alista.

            A private family Inurnment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.

            Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
