Mr. Timothy Arnett of Coalhurst, beloved husband of Mrs. Barb Arnett, passed away at St. Michaels Palliative Health Centre on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

Timothy (Tim) Arnett was born in St. Helens, England on July 21, 1936. He lived in various towns and cities in England as a child but eventually settled down in Walsall, West Midlands. When he turned 18 he enlisted in the Royal Airforce for three years and was stationed in both Malta and Cyprus.In 1959 he met the love of his life Barbara. They wed in September 1962. They had two children, Karl in 1965 and Martyn in 1972. They lived in Cheltenham, Glouscestershire for 12 years. In January, 1978 he moved his family to Coalhurst, AB. He proceeded to work at Import Auto Sales as head of the parts department. Later he would own the Furniture Hospital repair shop in Lethbridge. He also volunteered his time with the Navy League of Canada eventually becoming Commanding Officer. He loved helping out at the Soup Kitchen. He loved working in his garden. Enjoyed his time at the Nord Bridge Senior Center meeting people and carpet bowling.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Jennifer Kennedy, Dr. Lachmain, the nurses at the Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michaels Palliative Care.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta with Pastor Barb Roycroft, officiating.

A private family Interment will be held prior.
