On February 15, 2023 Nora Allen passed away peacefully at the Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.

Nora was born January 6,1932 in Middlesbrough, England and emigrated to Canada in 1949. She settled in Edmonton where she worked for the Muttart Organization and their Associated Companies from 1952 until her retirement in 1987. Nora was a volunteer Board Member of the Life Style Helping Hands Association.

She met her partner Ed Newman in 1977 and they spent the next 32 years travelling the world and making many wonderful friends along the way. Nora was predeceased by her partner Ed Newman; her parents, Margaret and Ernest Cope; brothers Ernest and Ralph; sisters Doris, Margaret and Elizabeth.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in the United Kingdom and Canada.

At Nora's request there will be no service. Cremation will take place and her ashes will be placed with her partner's in Whitewood, Saskatchewan.

Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
