Cecil James Alberta of Red Deer, beloved son of Jerry & Nancy Alberta, passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2023, at the age of 41 years.

Cecil was born at the Temiskaming Hospital in Newliskeard Ontario on February 6, 1982. He grew up in Kenabeek and was quite the handful, keeping his parents on their toes every step of the way! He loved spending time with his family, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and helping his big brother prepare for the demolition derby. He also liked to play his guitar and sing to Johnny Cash or Kenny Rogers.

Cecil adored his nieces and nephew and never forgot to ask all about them whenever he'd ring us just to chat. Cecil we will think of vou often but especially every time we hear "Folsom Prison" or "The Gambler". Those songs are going to hit just a little bit differently now.

You will be terriblv missed and loved so very much.

Cecil is survived by his father Jerry Alberta Sr. (Deloris Zsedely) of Taber; mother Nancy (Skinner) Alberta of Taber; sister April (Alberta) Reece (Cliff Reece) of Taber; brother Jerry Alberta Jr. also of Taber, and brother Richard Alberta (Ashley Alberta) of Rocky Mountain House; close family friend Gerry Crowder of Taber; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and his little nephew.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Victor (Louise) Alberta and Harry (Hilda) Skinner.

Cecil will be privately remembered by his loving family. Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel.
