Custom Home Renovations

In 2023 our company undertook this home renovation project for our clients in the City of Maple Ridge. As you can see in the photos below this home has gone through some drastic changes and updates. We are happy to see this project completed! As well as share with new and potential clients what they can expect when they hire licensed and certified Blue Crest electricians. When you first start a home renovation project it's hard to envision the end result, especially when you deconstruct the home down to the studs. During this project our electricians worked alongside Bowline Construction and their crew of skilled and experienced carpenters. If you start a reno of this magnitude at some point you may need a carpenter, electrician, roofer, plumber, drywaller, landscaper, and tiler, just to name a few. Coordinating all these trades can be a headache but with an experienced general contractor the process becomes a lot smoother. Renovating an existing house can be a long and arduous task as you'll have to demolish parts of the building before you can add the new. However, many homeowners prefer to renovate rather than build a new home from the ground up.

1. You will not require a building permit unless you are adding additions or a secondary suite.

2. Depending on the extent of the upgrades, renovating usually costs less than building a new home as you already have an existing frame, roof, and foundation.

3. Existing home floor plan layout. Depending on what you have planned for your home reno, having an already existing floor plan and structure can give the design a starting point or limit your creativity.
