Are building permits required?

Do you build anything besides decks?

Yes.In addition to decks, we offer a full range or carpentry services, including pergolas, gazebos, garages, sheds, windows, doors, siding and the all kinds of interior renovations.

Do you build decks and fences year-round?

Depending on snow and frost, we can build decks and fences year-round.  If we can make the project area accessible and ground conditions are suitable, we can build.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry one million dollars in commercial general liability insurance.  All crew members are covered by workers compensation.

Does your warranty include material and labour?

Yes. All material is covered for failure and defect for 1 year (additional product warranty may be offered by certain manufacturers).All craftsmanship is warrantied for one year.

What are your payment terms?

A 25% payment is due once construction starts.  The remaining 75% is due one construction is complete.

Can I attach my deck to the house?

Yes. Decks can be attached to your house via a ledger board.  It is critically important that the ledger is attached properly, flashed properly and the proper fasteners and connectors are used.

How deep do my fence posts need to be?

For a 6’ high wooden fence, generally, we install the corner and gate posts at 36” and line posts at 30”.  Depending on the height of the fence, the gate size or the fence design, posts may need to be set deeper.

What do you charge per square foot for a deck?

There are many variables that dictate the cost if a deck.  Square foot pricing can be misleading.  The height, site conditions, complexity and material selections all affect the price.  With a few details, we can provide a price range in just a few minutes.

How much does a composite deck cost compared to a pressure treated deck?

Although there are some low-cost composites on the market, a quality, warrantied composite is considerably more expensive than pressure treated decking, a good composite deck board is at least 5 times the cost of a pressure treated deck board.

3. Assign your FAQ to a category 
4. Save and publish.

1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 
2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 
3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 
4. Add media from your library and save.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor.  
To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
