About Me

Throughout my life, I have consistently exhibited a penchant for crafting, constantly seeking to fashion creations from whatever materials were within my grasp. Even during my early days of playing with Barbie dolls, I demonstrated this creative drive by constructing miniature furniture from my parents' discarded cigarette packages, adorning them with carefully peeled foil. Looking back, it's quite amusing to think about!

One vivid memory takes me all the way back to sixth grade when I confidently proclaimed to my teacher that I inherited my father's carpentry skills, envisioning myself as the ideal candidate to design and build props for our class play. My teacher's response, reminiscent of the character from "Welcome Back Kotter," made me feel like I was one of his favorites, much like the characters in that TV series. It's funny to reminisce about it now!

And, well, I did get the opportunity to create the entire set.

Despite pursuing a career in healthcare following college and dedicating nearly three decades to various healthcare facilities, my creative spirit never waned. I continued to engage in DIY projects during my spare moments while simultaneously juggling the responsibilities of work and raising a family.

​

As I navigated through life, I encountered its fair share of ups and downs, along with invaluable life lessons. With age comes a different perspective on life, and I've come to realize that life is too precious to squander, regardless of the trials we face—be they verbal, mental, or physical. We are each granted only one life, and as such...

I recently made the decision to retire in March of 2023, allowing me to pursue my long-standing passion for crafting. While I still provide part-time care for a few clients, I also took the leap of faith to establish my own craft store in September of 2023.

I DID IT...

This is how "Believe in beYOUtiful Creations" came into existence. So, always remember to have faith, embrace your true self, and above all else, acknowledge your inherent beauty.
