Sewage backup is when wastewater or sewage returns into a building through drains or other plumbing fixtures. It contains bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens that are harmful for your health.

Sewage backup remediation consists of a team of experts using specialized equipment and protective gear to remove contamination, clean and disinfect the affected area. Then the area is dried out with high-powered fans before the team cleans, disinfects, deodorizes, and repairs the damaged areas.

Exposure to sewage backup can lead to various health issues, including gastrointestinal infections, skin irritation, respiratory problems, and allergic reactions. It is crucial to avoid contact with sewage-contaminated water and seek professional remediation services promptly to safeguard health and well-being.

Sewage backup requires immediate attention to minimize health risks and further property damage.

Some sewage backups can be prevented through regular inspection and maintenance of your plumbing system. Installing backwater valves and only disposing appropriate waste through your plumbing system may help limit the likelihood of a sewage backup.

Mould is a fungus that grows in humid environments. When it grows indoors, it can cause structural damage and release spores that are dangerous for human inhalation. Therefore, it is important to identify and remove mould as soon as possible.

Mould remediation consists in identifying and testing it. Then it is contained and removed. The affected area is then cleaned and disinfected, and measures are taken to prevent the problem from reoccurring. The area is then repaired.

Mould can cause a variety of reactions including respiratory problems, skin irritations, and allergic reactions. It is particularly dangerous for people living with compromised immune systems, allergies, or asthma.

As soon as you see or suspect mould growth, it should be remediated. This will help prevent further contamination and damage, which ultimately keeps remediation costs down and helps you and your loved ones stay healthy.

Much can be done to help prevent mould growth in the future. This includes professionally remediating current mould problems, regular inspection of leak-prone areas such as windows and doors, prompt repair of plumbing issues, moisture and humidity control, proper ventilation, and complete drying in the event of any water infiltration.
