Our Process

The process of starting a group insurance program is quite simple. All you need to do is follow three simple steps, and you will have the perfect health benefit plan for your employees.

Step One

Provide APG Benefits with your employee data and insurance needs, if you have a current plan you may want to provide two years’ worth of claims experience. If you currently have a plan, you may decide if you want to fully ensure your health and dental benefits in it’s entirety or look at a self-funding model depending on your company’s current needs and budget.

Step Two

APG Benefits can market your plan to several different insurance carriers and in return, you will be provided with a competitive plan design with competitive pricing.

Step Three

Add ancillary benefits to your program from specialty insurers. We can also provide you with Best Doctors® services, Critical Illness coverage, Employee Assistance programs, and Income Replacement options.

We will provide you with a comprehensive proposal and once you have made the decision as to what plan and insurance underwriter, we will take care of everything else. From enrolling employees to maintaining eligibility to preparing documentation and providing customer service, we support you throughout the process. You can rely on us for Life Insurance, Extended Health care with Travel benefits, Dental benefits, Critical Illness, and RRSPs.
