Skyline Crane, a locally owned and operated crane and rigging company, is proud to announce they have been awarded COR® certification.
The Certificate of Recognition (COR®) is a health and safety accreditation program. To obtain the certification, employees at Skyline had to undergo rigorous training, create a comprehensive, company-wide health and safety program, and pass three audits.
“COR® is the national standard for health and safety in the Canadian construction industry. By obtaining this certification, we are once again reaffirming our commitment to the safety of our team members, our clients and the general public,” says Health and Safety Manager Chantel Walls. “Jobsite incidents are costly in more ways than one. Becoming COR® certified is directly in line with our continued focus on being incident-free, which in turn helps us to deliver an overall more efficient crane service to our clients.”
As many public and private projects use COR® certification as a pre-condition to qualification, Skyline Crane is once again proving that whatever the job, they are serious about health and safety and up to the task.
